Launch of "Cartilla" in Sanando Comunidad in Tumaco, Colombia; Quibdo, Colombia;

Description

The launching and sharing of the booklet follows the request from research participants to democratize the research process as well as making sure that their participation and active collaboration in the research process is properly acknowledged. The contribution was focused on incorporating participating CSOs in the launching of the booklet as a product of research. Their participation on the event meant knot only sharing their knowledge but also seeking their feedback on the importance of the work, the impact and the strategies they would like to follow after learning about the work that they had contributed to actively.

The event was organized in a conference room which gathered all participating organizations in Tumaco, these included mostly local organizations working with young people but also representatives of Save the Children and other coordinating organizations. The event meant creating a space for participants to write down their views about impact and utility of the booklet and the research methodology.

The effects can be seen in the different comments made around outreach, impact and utility of the booklet and the discussions about the methodology and participatory processes within the research process.
