Description
The Irish Literary Society invited me to be part of a panel alongside academic Dr Barry Montgomery and poet Simon Lewis to talk about my acclaimed novel and the extensive research into the Irish Jewish community. To an audience of over 100 people, I presented on my work and framed it within a wider historical context - indeed, Dr Montgomery (who is part of the major AHRC research project Representations of Jews in Irish Literature) attested to the significance of my novel given it is the first major example of Irish-Jewish fiction since Joyce's Ulysses.Period | 19 Feb 2018 |
