The conference was held on June 18, 19 and 20 in Athens, Greece, and was very successful on an organizational and scientific level. Authors or delegates came from UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Slovenia, Republic of Serbia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Albania, Cyprus, South Africa, India, Malaysia, China, the USA, Taiwan, Nigeria, Russia, Spain, Portugal, France, Poland, Indonesia, Croatia, Australia, Norway and certainly from Greece, the host country.
Moreover, the organizing committee expresses its thanks and gratitude to all the scientific committee members who ensured the quality of the papers, the keynote speaker Professor George Avlonitis, the two universities who co-organized the conference, Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEI), Greece, and Manchester Metropolitan University of UK and the collaborating journals.
