Description
Gothica is an informal, online monthly reading group exploring all areas of the Gothic in literature and popular culture. Gothica was founded in 2019 at the University of Birmingham by doctoral researchers Katrina Jan and Dr Emily Vincent, then joined by Ross Conway. Each session is two hours long, hosted by a special guest speaker with academic expertise in the Gothic, followed by relaxed breakout room discussions related to the monthly theme.
