Activity: Academic and Industrial events › Guest lecture or Invited talk
Description
Invited by the University of Edinburgh as an ‘ad hoc curator’ to lead a public Discovery Session on LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing. My role was to guide an audience of academics, creatives and interested members of the public through an exploration of historical records from the Lothian Gay and Lesbian Switchboard — set up in 1974 as the UK’s first LGBTQ+ helpline and Scotland’s first LGBTQ+ charity.
