I am currently the only academic representative on the DRINC (BBSRC) panel from the field of engineering. My DRINC membership involves my significant contribution in setting the industrial priorities for the club, identifying emerging gaps in the DRINC research portfolio, establishing what areas in the DRINC research challenges are no longer required as well as recognising those that should be added. I am also responsible for assessing the progress of research projects within the current DRINC portfolio.
