Treasurer, British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies (BAFTSS)

I took up the role of BAFTSS Treasurer for a 3-year term at the April 2019 conference. It entails overseeing the BAFTSS bank account and all transfers of awards made to run academic events (BAFTTS has 18 Special Interest Groups entitled to claim annually and runs an annual Event Grant Scheme and a 'New Connections' scheme for ECRs to give talks at guest institutions.) I also write reports for and attend quarterly Executive Committee meetings and present the association's accounts to the AGM at the annual conference.
