This session offers a combination of learning and discussion facilitated by a presentation from Dr Prithvi Perepa. Prithvi is an Associate Professor in Autism Studies at the University of Birmingham within the School of Education and the Department of Disability, Inclusion and Special Needs (DISN). Prithvi is also a member of the university’s Autism Centre for Education Research (ACER). Prithvi has a particular interest in the intersectionality of culture and autism and his research in this area is driven by his aims to improve the quality of life of individuals on the autism spectrum and their family members.
