Description

'Based in the West Midlands, art\write consists of 10 practicing writers. Our aim is to engage an audience in the intersection between writing and art, through directed performance of our written texts. We aim to illuminate the ways in which writers respond to the visual, sensual world of art; play with words and test the discipline through experimentation in prose, poetry and drama. We bring together writers with a wide range of different interests, and we frequently collaborate with local artist in the exploration of diverse themes, including local history.
