This panel, chaired by Prof. Agnieszka Chidlow (Chair of Responsible Research in Business and Management; University of Birmingham), examined the ethical, methodological, and institutional challenges posed by artificial intelligence for safeguarding research integrity. The discussion focused on maintaining credibility, honour, and transparency in scholarly work amid rapid technological transformation.

Panelists included Dr. David Steingard (Head of Principles for Responsible Management Education, USA), Prof. Marina Papanastassiou (University of Leeds, UK), Dr. Paweł Korzyński (Kozminski University, Poland), Prof. Andrew Burton-Jones (RRBM Working Board Member; The University of Queensland), and Prof. David J. Reibstein (RRBM Fellow; The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania).

The panel addressed emerging risks and responsibilities associated with AI-enabled research practices, highlighting governance mechanisms, academic norms, and global standards necessary to preserve scholarly integrity and societal trust.
