Co-Founder & Advisory Board Member, Academy of International Business Research Methods – Shared Interest Group (AIB RM-SIG), Academy of International Business (AIB), Michigan State University, Michigan, USACo-founded the AIB Research Methods – Shared Interest Group (RM-SIG), establishing the first SIG within AIB’s governance structure to promote methodological rigor, training, and responsible research in social sciences.
Key Roles & Contributions:
•Vice-President Programme (2017–2021): Directed workshops, clinics, and masterclasses at AIB annual meetings, fostering global engagement in advanced research methods.
•Vice-President Responsible Research (2020–2023): Strengthened strategic ties with the Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) global network, including co-organising the RRBM on Tour Symposium.
•Advisory Board Member (2023–present): Champion RM-SIG’s mission and vision, support Board members, and cultivate strategic collaborations with RRBM, CARMA, and Qual +.
•Cultivated long-term strategic relationships to advance responsible research practices, knowledge exchange, and global methodological excellence.
Collaborated with international colleagues including Prof. Catherine Welch, Prof. Bo B. Nielsen, and Prof. Stewart R. Miller to establish RM-SIG as a cornerstone for methodologically focused research activities within AIB.
