2026 joint UK Resonant Acoustic Mixing Workshop and Birmingham Symposium on Mechanochemistry and Sustainability (BSMS)

Activity: Academic and Industrial eventsConference, workshop or symposium

Description

The 2026 combined Birmingham Symposium on Mechanochemistry & Sustainability (BSMS) and UK Resonant Acoustic Mixing (RAM) Workshop is the central event in the UK for students, researchers and industry stakeholders to present, learn and advance the use of cutting-edge technologies for mechanochemistry and mechanical processing.

This event is organised and hosted by the Birmingham Centre for Mechanochemistry & Mechanical Processing (BCM2) with the aim to promote and advance the understanding and applications of efficient, low-energy, material-efficient manufacturing based on mechanochemistry and reactivity of solids.

This event features the annual UK RAM Workshop, organised by the UK RAM Facility in collaboration with Resodyn, inc.: a unique opportunity for industries and researchers across the UK and from Europe to learn from the world-leading experts in development and applications of the RAM technology for milling, mixing, blending, chemical reactions, and other diverse applications, including demonstrations of benchtop and pilot-scale (OmniRAM) technologies
